International Women’s Day – WE Health
Happy International Women’s Day! We are all parts of a whole. Our individual actions, conversations, behaviors and mindsets can have an impact on our larger society. Collectively, we can make change happen. Collectively, we can each help to create a gender equal world. We can all choose to be #EachforEqual.
#EachforEqual is the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day campaign
We at EIT Health are an organisation that champions diversity and equality for everyone, so that we can collectively realise the opportunity health innovation brings.
The gender imbalance in healthcare entrepreneurship represents a loss for individual women and society as a whole. One of our programs, WE Health empowers women innovators and promotes a balanced community. We believe in empowering women to innovate in health, and this is the main goal of WeHealth.
What is WE Health?
WE Health is an education project designed to enhance the participation of women in health innovation and entrepreneurship. WE Health empowers women health innovators by providing capacity-building training specifically tailored to their needs, offering inspiration and support to help women advance in their professional careers. WE Health also aims to raise awareness of the positive economic and social impact of gender diversity in health innovation, while it seeks to generate new ideas that can promote a balanced innovation and entrepreneurship community.
How can I get involved?
Take part in one of our programs the first one coming up is in May and takes place in Galway Ireland. If you feel that you lack a vision that excites you or feel that you are not using all your capabilities then this is for you!
When: 11, 12 and 13 May
Where: Galway, Ireland
Welcome to a capacity building training that put women’s empowerment in the health care innovation context in focus.
The aim of the training is that each participant will leave the module ready to take entrepreneurial action! The module will take participants through a series of interactive workshops, with the objective to map your individual needs and assets by applying creative tools and business methodologies. After this module, participants will have designed solutions to their challenges and have made an action plan – the first steps towards leadership in innovation. If not now, when?
